Casa Dental Group was founded in 2013 by Dr. Katie Tran with a mission to provide exceptional dental care to the Concord community.
We believe everyone deserves access to quality dental care, which is why we offer our Casa Dental Plan for uninsured patients and a fully Spanish-speaking team.

Dr. Katie Tran
General Dentist
Born in Concord, CA, Dr. Tran is no stranger to the neighborhood. She received her undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and began her dental education at age 19 from NYU College of Dentistry, making her the youngest dentist to graduate from her class. She has since been practicing dentistry for over ten years in New York & California as well as Honduras outreaches. Patients love her for a soft touch and fun nature that make you forget you were at the dentist! In her free time you can find her practicing pilates and playing with her two young children and their French bulldog, Montana!
Dr. Dominique Pham
General Dentist
Dr. Pham was born and raised in the East Bay. She attended UC San Diego for her undergraduate degree where she earned a Bachelor of Science in General Biology as well as a post-baccalaureate at California State University, East Bay. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Midwestern University in Arizona in which she graduated with honors and received the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Chapter Award and International College of Dentists Student Leadership Award. Dr. Pham has done dental volunteer work in Samoa and Tonga and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. In her free time Dr. Pham enjoys spending time with her dog and trying to find the next best thing to watch on Netflix.
Dr. Hak Kim
General Dentist with Focus in Oral Surgery
Originally from South Korea, Dr. Kim has had many years of experience in oral surgery. He completed his dental school degree in South Korea and specialized as an oral surgeon since 1996. Upon coming to the United States, Dr. Kim was one of the few candidates to be accepted into UCSF Dental School's prestigious international 2-year program where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2018 here in the States. He limits his practice to removal of teeth and the placement of dental implants. In his spare time, he can be found playing golf and spending time with his family of wife, twin daughters and their two dogs.
Dr. Fardad Tayebaty
Endodontist (Root Canal Specialist)
We are proud to have Dr. Tayebaty serve our patients' root canal needs. He received his bachelor's degree in biology from UCLA with honors. He went on to receive his dental degree from the prestigious Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Tayebaty then moved to New York and earned his specialty certificate in Endodontics at the NYU College of Dentistry. Patients love him as he is able to make any root canal quick and painless. During his free time he enjoys playing soccer, hiking and spending time with his wife and their young son.
Dr. Samuel Cassani
General Dentist
Dr. Cassani grew up in Utah and spent eight years working as a professional violin maker before discovering his passion for dentistry. He graduated with honors in Biology from Utah Valley University and earned his DDS from the University of the Pacific, where he was recognized for his exceptional hand skills. Dr. Cassani is EMT-certified and helped organize an emergency response team during dental school to train students in managing clinic emergencies. He speaks Spanish to better serve his community and is passionate about providing pain-free, compassionate care that helps patients feel truly at ease. Outside the office, he can be found at the movie theatre with his wife, who works at Pixar and is always showing him the best movies. He and his wife enjoy trying new restaurants, riding motorcycles, scuba diving and spending time with their fur-babies.

Diana
Scheduling Coordinator & Front Desk Lead
If you called our office, you most likely spoke to Miss Diana. She is your point person when it comes to scheduling your appointments and verifying your insurance and copayments. Concord is her hometown so if you want any local recommendations she's your go-to person! In her free time Diana enjoys spending time with her family and her daughter.
Serafin Orellana
Registered Dental Assistant
Serafin has grown up here in Concord and is no stranger to the Bay Area. He is known to always strike up a conversation and make you comfortable during your visit. Patients love him for his kindness and his soft touch! He enjoys a good movie and is always on the lookout for new music.
Montana the French Bulldog
Therapy Dog
Montana has a PhD in psychology. Her primary focus is providing comfort to patients who have dental fear and anxiety. In her spare time, she loves to lounge around in the office and takes naps. Her favorite movie is Air Bud.
